I can’t even begin to describe how grateful I am for all that we are seeing the Lord do. In last night’s service, sixteen people were healed. One pastor’s wife testified that she had been healed of a serious condition in a meeting that we held in the New Orleans area about a month ago. She had suffered with irritable bowel syndrome, nausea, and was anemic for over twenty years. She was on numerous medications.
She is now totally healed with no symptoms, no nausea, needs no medication, and at her last doctor’s visit the nurse told her she is no longer anemic. Glory to God!!!
It’s happening!!! Revival is here! What is revival? Among other things, it is a restoration to life. To what kind of life? It’s a restoration to the kind of life that the Father intended for us before the world was made. Now this is very important, it’s the life that the Godhead shared with one another in eternity.
Let me show you what I mean. In Ephesians 1:4-5 NLT it says, “Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ… God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure.”
Since the earth had not yet been created, then into what family did God adopt us? There were no people. There may have been angels, but nowhere in scripture are angels called the family of God.
There was only one “family” before mankind was created. It was the very triune Godhead Himself.
Now don’t misunderstand me, we are not members of the Godhead and we will never be members of the Godhead. However, we’ve been enfolded into His family, not into His essence, He alone, with no one else, will always be God, but we have been brought into relationship and fellowship with Him in Christ.
Why did God do it? Because, according to Ephesians, it gave Him great pleasure! He wanted to share the joy-life of the Godhead with us.
One theologian said it this way, “God dwells in perfect felicity (utter and absolute joy—total joy) above all glory… But as in His mercy and His infinite love He desires to communicate His blessedness, to create for Himself beings capable of sharing in the joyfulness of His glory… His glory is manifested… is reflected in man… He bestows it, and those who become partakers thereof receive it, it returns to Him, and in this perpetual circumvolution (a winding movement, especially of one thing around another)… the divine glory, the blessed life, the felicity (utter and absolute joy—total joy) of the creature consists.”
Yes! Glory to God! God wants to share the communion and the joy that’s in the Godhead with you and me! He wants to forever be united with us as one. (Song of Songs 8:14 The Passion Translation) That’s the kind of life that revival restores us to—the very life that He intended for us before He even made the world.
Everywhere we go we are seeing God demonstrate His desire and love for His family by manifesting His presence in wonderful and supernatural ways. The sick are healed, the demonized are liberated, signs and wonders are increasing, and the altars are consistently filled with people falling in love with Jesus.
Please pray for us. In May, we’ll be ministering in Mississippi as well as in several services in Washington state. I’ll also be ministering to leaders at an international leaders summit for Brazilian pastors. This summer, we’ll be back in Alaska again (third time in a year) and also in Israel!
Until next time, may you have more kingdom reality, the joy-life of fellowshipping in the family of God, and “MAS FUEGO!” (MORE FIRE!”)
Your Apostolic Revivalists & Equippers,
